Obituary for Amparo Jiminez de Dominguez
Amparo Jimenez de Dominguez passed away on Friday, June 7th at her home in Lemoore at the age of 94. She was born in Vicente Guerrero, Durango, Mexico to Francisco and Guadalupe Jimenez. Amparo was a devout catholic who was sure to pray the rosary every day, she also liked to sew.
Amparo is survived by her 5 children: Angelica Rios of TX, Hijinio Dominguez, Santiago Dominguez both of Los Angeles, Lupe Herrera and Enrique Dominguez both of Lemoore.15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren with another on the way, 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Santiago Dominguez, 2 sons: Pepe Dominguez and Daniel (Rorro) Dominguez, and her grandson: Gino Dominguez.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21 from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with a Vigil Rosary Service at 6:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 3:30 P.M. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
Amparo Jiménez de Domínguez falleció el viernes 7 de junio en su casa de Lemoore a la edad de 94 años. Nació en Vicente Guerrero, Durango, México, en Francisco y Guadalupe Jiménez. Amparo era una católica devota que estaba segura de rezar el rosario todos los días, a ella también le gustaba coser.
A Amparo le sobreviven sus 5 hijos: Angélica Ríos de Texas, Hijinio Domínguez, Santiago Domínguez, ambos de Los Ángeles, Lupe Herrera y Enrique Domínguez, ambos de Lemoore.15 nietos, 27 bisnietos con otro en camino, 4 bisnietos nietos Le precedieron en la muerte su esposo Santiago Domínguez, dos hijos: Pepe Domínguez y Daniel (Rorro) Domínguez, y su nieto: Gino Domínguez.
La visita se llevará a cabo el viernes 21 de junio de 5:00 a 8:00 p.m. en la iglesia católica de St. Peter’s con un servicio de vigilia y rosario a las 6:00 p.m. La misa de entierro cristiano será el sábado a las 3:30 p.m. en la iglesia católica de St. Peter’s.
