Obituary for Angie H. Garcia

Angie was born on September 4th 1937, youngest of eight children, in Fresno CA to Guadalupe & Tomasa Hernandez. On Thursday December 26th 2019 Angie passed away peacefully in her sleep. As a young child her family relocated to Clovis CA. There she would help her family work in the fields, go to school, and play with the neighborhood kids. Angie was the only one of her siblings that would go on to graduate from Clovis High School. Unknown to her at the time one of the children she grew up playing with would eventually become her husband, Eddie Garcia. They were married on March 25th 1959 while Eddie was home on leave from the army. Shortly thereafter, Eddie would be transferred to Munich, Germany where he & Angie would welcome their first two children. After 2 years, they returned stateside to Fort Polk, LA where they would welcome babies number three & four. After the military, they returned to Clovis, CA. Eventually, they settled in Lemoore, CA where they would spend the rest of their lives. Angie was a proud homemaker. Being a wife and having four children in four years kept her plenty busy. Her love of faith and family was evident in the way that she lived her life. The love, protection, along with the teachings she had passed onto her children became life lessons that they will carry with them always.
