Obituary for Betty Roe (Erickson)
Betty Lou Roe of Hanford, formerly of Lemoore, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born in Minneapolis, MN to Frank and Lulu Erickson. She has lived in the Kings County area for the past 48 years. Betty enjoyed going to Friday Night Music at the Lemoore Senior Center and the Veterans Hall in Lemoore.
Betty is survives by her 3 sons: Larry Barnes of PA, Michael Barnes and Jerry Roe both of Santa Maria. 5 daughters: Linda Helms of OK, Karen Barnes of Santa Maria, Patricia Maya, Bobbie Aerni and June Barker all of Hanford, 26 grandchildren along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband William Roe, daughter Mary Blumer and brother Richard Erickson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 1:30 P.M. at Lemoore Cemetery. Friends who wish can make donations in Betty’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
