Life Story for Frank Joseph Freitas Sr.
Frank Joseph Freitas, Sr., 79 passed away on March 6th, 2023 in Hanford, Ca.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, returning back to the Lemoore area working in the Ag Industry most of his life.
Frank was active in the Portuguese community and a longtime member of the Riverdale I.D.E.S., he enjoyed taking the family around the valley to participate in Festas and celebrations. He loved to go fishing, working on small engines and collecting HO trains. Frank could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere and never met a stranger.
Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ofelia, their sons Frank, Jr. (Aimee) and Leroy, and grandson, Hunter.
Services will be held at St. Peter’s in Lemoore on March 20th, 2023. Visitation from 9:00am-11:00am and Mass at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Peter’s in Franks honor.
