Obituary for Kathy Torres - Fall

It is with great sadness that the Fall family announces the passing of Kathy Torres-Fall. Kathy was born August 19, 1962 in Hanford, California to Anthony and Wanda (McCormick) Torres. She was number 3 of 4 children.
In school Kathy excelled in sports. She played catcher for 3 years on the softball team (proudly stating that she only made 1 error in 3 years.
Kathy graduated from Lemoore High School. A proud member of the class of 1980. Kathy was known for her singing ability, humor, love, and friendship. It didn’t make a difference to Kathy who you were. Once she met you, you were her friend. At home she was known for her love and her cooking ability. Making beef jerky, jams, jelly, granola, fudge, and her home made vanilla. Her tacos were legendary. One of her fond memories was riding a horse in the Mother’s Day Parade in Armona. One year she participated in the Miss Kings County Pageant. Kathy won the Miss Congeniality award. Kathy worked in the mortgage business for 30 years, doing home loans, and helping hundreds of people realize their dream of owning a home.
Kathy is preceded in death by her father Anthony Torres. She is survived by her husband Danny Fall, Mother Wanda Torres, 3 brothers, Anthony (Tami), Tim, and Jamie (Shauna) and three step children she loved as her own. Susan (Brandon Crawford) Diane (Nick Denny) and David, 4 Grandsons- Julian Fall, Darren Denny, Weston and Wyatt Crawford. Visitation is at Phipps-Dale Funeral Chapel Thursday March 30, 4:00-6:30 P.M. Services will be held at Lemoore Church of Christ on 140 Skaggs St. Friday March 31st at 10:00 A.M. Burial at Grangeville Cemetery, reception to follow at the Lemoore Senior Citizen Center.
