Obituary for Mary Perry

The family of Mary Perry wishes to announce her passing on February 23, 2023. Born in Hanford, Calif. on July 4, 1948, She was a proud tribal member of the Santa Rosa Rancheria near Lemoore CA, where she resided the majority of her life. Mary took great pride in her accomplishments in life, from working at Tachi Palace & the Santa Rosa Rancheria to raising family members.
She expressed great love to those close to her and was very giving to others in need.
Mary enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her daughters, grandchildren & great grandchildren. She spent her days doing crossword puzzles, reading, watching movies, working in her yard, enjoying time with family and playing slots in the casino.
Her presence will be greatly missed by her family.
She is survived by her sisters; Bertha Alanis, Laverne Calderon, Bernice Perry and Rebecca Perry; her children Monalisa Gonzales, Carmen Scaturro, and Gwendolyn Scaturro; grandchildren Lisa Martinez, Maria Martinez, Lucas Gonzales, and Joel Ramos; great grandchildren Mark Black and Ayden Black.
She was preceded in death by her parents Paul Perry and Carmelita (Thomas)Perry; siblings Peter Perry, Michele Sisco, Betty Perry, Ronnie Perry and Samuel Perry.
Visitation will be held on Monday March 13, 2023 from 5pm-7pm at Phipps Dale in Lemoore Ca.
Mass will be held on Tuesday March 14, 2023 at 11am in St Peters Catholic Church, Lemoore Ca.
Last ride on the Rez will follow Mass and burial at the Tachi Indian Cemetery.
