Obituary for MaryAnn Stockton

Our beloved wife, mother, nana, daughter and sister MaryAnn Stockton, 68, passed away peacefully at home with her family on June 23, 2022. She bravely fought a short battle with pancreatic cancer. MaryAnn was born to Art and Barbara Dilles on January 31, 1954 in Hanford, California. She was the oldest of seven siblings.

MaryAnn married her husband Steven Stockton in 1969. They made their home in Laton, California and together raised three children while devoting their lives to serving Jesus Christ.

MaryAnn received her license in 1997 and worked as a licensed vocational nurse for three years. She then went to work for the Department of Corrections as a medical technical assistant and later trained to become an officer. She retired in 2017 after seventeen years of service, and then dedicated all of her time to her family.

MaryAnn is survived by her husband Steven Stockton and children Steven (Jennifer) Stockton II of Three Rivers, Christine (John) Often of Stratford, and Joshua (Coti) Stockton of Stratford. Her grandchildren are Cortney (Matt) Eitel, Rebecca (Preston) Eitel, Russell (Ashley) Tuman, Steven (Molly) Stockton III, Dylan (Maggie) Stockton, Ashleigh (Chris) Stockton, Jacob Stockton, Joshua (Layla) Stockton II, Tristen Stockton, Maverick Stockton and Wyatt Stockton.

Her great grandchildren are John, Gabriel and Bodhi Stockton; Bella, Dalilah, and Kinzlee Tuman; Ellie and Noah Rosinski; Greyson Stockton and Bently Stone; Paxton Gravance, and Joshua Stockton III. She is also survived by her mother Barbara Thomas, her sisters Tillie (Richard) Moon, Delores (Bill) Lawrence, Cheri Vaughn, and Janet (Bob) Kayser and her brother George (Sherri) Dilles. She was preceded in death by her father Art Dilles and her brother Frank Dilles.

Funeral services will take place at Phipps-Dale Funeral Chapel in Lemoore at 9:00 am on Thursday, June 30th. The burial service will follow at Lemoore Cemetery. The family invites you to attend a reception in MaryAnn’s honor at Koinonia Church in Hanford immediately following the services.
