Obituary for Rick Johnson
Rick Allen Johnson passed away peacefully in Stratford CA at the age of 59. Rick was a long resident of Stratford.
Rick is survived by his sister Tina Ballew of Santa Maria CA. He is preceded in death by his mother Patsy Johnson in 2016 and his father Remel Johnson in 2022.
Rick was born in Hanford CA and attended Stratford schools and Lemoore High School graduating in 1982. After working for several local companies, Rick began working at Leprino Foods in 1988 as a Lab Technician until his retirement in 2020.
Rick was well liked by his Leprino co-workers for his unique sense of humor and great work ethic. He routinely volunteered to work holidays so that his co-workers could be with family. Rick had a number of interests - collecting antique tools, swords and knives, miniature cars and albums. After his retirement Rick was focused on renovation of his house in Stratford upgrading paint, roofing, flooring - a little bit of everything.
A graveside service is scheduled for September 1 at 11:00 at the Lemoore Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Vineyard Restaurant in Lemoore. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Rick's life.
