Timothy Lee Johnson, 62, of Lemoore, CA, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021. He was born in Brunswick, GA, where he enjoyed his early childhood before moving to Lemoore in 1968. Tim was a father, coach, friend, and hard worker. He lovedsports, playing baseball, basketball, football and wrestling in his youngeryears and softball later on. Timwas affectionately known as“Yogi” on and off the field. If he wasn’t playing he was coaching and is fondly remembered for his guidance, love of the game, and sense of humor.He especially loved being there for his son’s and his grandson’sgames, his daughter’s basketball games, and whatever else they loved doing. He also was a diehard Rams fan;whether they were in St. Louis or L.A. you could findhim wearing a hat and watching the games, believing through thick and thin that a Superbowl was in the cards. Tim was a loving father and a great friend to many; we will miss him so very much.Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Faye Durden, his father Rance Lee Johnson,sistersTonya Badgettand Cindy Johnson, as well as many other family members who welcomed him home to Heaven. Tim is survived by his former wife Kathy, son Timothy Johnson, Jr., his daughters Stephanie Johnson and Amy Johnson,grandsons Timothy Johnson III, Thomas Johnson, Julian Johnson, Jason Johnson, Patrick Johnson, granddaughter Riley Faye Johnson andhis great grandson Greyson Johnson.Tim alsoissurvived by brothers Terry Johnson and William Durden, sisters Barbara Carreiro and Mickie Johnson, numerous nieces , nephews and cousins,the Gonzales family, as well as Cheryl and Alex.All meant a great deal to him.Please join us for a small memorial service, Tuesday January 19th, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Phipps-Dale Funeral Chapel420 “D” Street in Lemoore.
