Tomasa is survived by her husband of 45 years Alejo Covarrubias, 7 children: Lupe Alatorre of Kettleman City, Manuel Santillana of Avenal, Angela Borrayo of Kettleman City, Maria Casillas of Avenal, Martha Torres of Kettleman City, Alipio Castaňeda of Lemoore, Sonia Covarrubias of Kettleman City, 24 grandchildren, 43 great-grandhildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 6 siblings and 5 half siblings. She was preceded in death by her husband Jose Melquiades, son: Jesus Santillana and her granddaughter: Vanessa Aguilar. Private services were held.
