Angie was born on September 4th 1937, youngest of eight children, in Fresno CA to Guadalupe & Tomasa Hernandez. On Thursday December 26th 2019 Angie passed away peacefully in her sleep. As a young child her family relocated to Clovis CA. There she would help her family work in the fields, go to school, and play with the neighborhood kids. Angie was the only one of her siblings that would go on to graduate from Clovis High School. Unknown to her at the time one of the children she grew up playing with would eventually become her husband, Eddie Garcia. They were married on March 25th 1959 while Eddie was home on leave from the army. Shortly thereafter, Eddie would be transferred to Munich, Germany where he & Angie would welcome their first two children. After 2 years, they returned stateside to Fort Polk, LA where they would welcome babies number three & four. After the military, they returned to Clovis, CA. Eventually, they settled in Lemoore, CA where they would spend the rest of their lives. Angie was a proud homemaker. Being a wife and having four children in four years kept her plenty busy. Her love of faith and family was evident in the way that she lived her life. The love, protection, along with the teachings she had passed onto her children became life lessons that they will carry with them always.
Angie was preceded in death by her husband Eddie of 55 years. She is survived by two sisters Frances Sandoval & Antonia Chavez. Four children Cindy Crews & husband David of San Jose, CA, Thomas Garcia of Tucson, AZ, Eddie Garcia Jr & wife Jan of Lake Stevens, WA, Trish Vicencio & husband Rene of Lemoore, CA. Eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, with number 18 due in March and her loyal dog Sheba Lee. She loved spending time studying her bible, visiting with family & friends and watching her favorite shows "Judge Judy and Walker Texas Ranger"
Graveside services will be held at the Lemoore cemetery on Monday, January 13th at ll:00am

Dearest Aunt Angie you were the aunt I wanted to grow up to be "exactly like you." I admired your spunk! You taught me that height didn't matter. You were as tall as you needed to be. I loved your sense of humor... you could tell a story and have a laughing captive audience surrounding you. Your beautiful singing voice was another blessing I admired. You could belt out those Mexican songs with pure pleasure and love! I can hear you now. Fond memories of you and with you are flashing in my mind so fast I can't write them all down. Guess it all boils down to, " I had a favorite Aunt Angie." God grant you peace. Say hello to my dad and Uncle Eddie. Love you sweet lady. Margie Beltran
